Relativamente alla tua domanda su (1) e (2), Takayama sta escudendo due casi:
1') esiste un punto \(\widetilde{\mathbf{x}}\) tale che \(\mathbf{f}(\widetilde{\mathbf{x}}) = \mathbf{f}(\widehat{\mathbf{x}})\);
2') esiste un punto \(\widetilde{\mathbf{x}}\) tale che \(f_i(\widetilde{\mathbf{x}}) > f_i(\widehat{\mathbf{x}})\) per una qualche \(i\);
Ovvero è ammesso che si abbia \(f_i(\widetilde{\mathbf{x}}) = f_i(\widehat{\mathbf{x}})\) per qualche \(i\) ma non per tutte. Quindi, ha senso avere due punti.
Per il resto dovrei ragionarci un po' di più.
