hi luc@s
I am sitting for PET on the fifth of May
I need some help to improve my writing skill, might you give me a hand?
I think I should write short texts about general topics, could you revise them?

Do you think I should create a new thread?
Anyway what topic are you interested in? So I shall begin to write about it. Light Topic! Holiday, fashion, tv series... stuff like these.

Hi mate
I had my first English lesson last Tuesday, so I worked with my teacher
Now I'll write a story (it's an exercise from the book "Preliminary for school trainer" By Cambridge University press)
I must use about 100 words

Write a story beginning

When Tom's dad picked him up in the car, he handed Tom a big bag from a sports store, and smiled.

Tom was surprised and quickly opened the bag: there were a skatebord and baggy clothes, those skaters usually wear.
Tom had always dreamed to go skating and now his father was driving toward the skate park. At the skate park there was Juliet, a young women, waiting for them. She was a skate trainer, and Tom had his first lesson. The day was sunny and warm, a perfect day to stay outdoor, Tom's father watched his son enjoying himself and thought how much they are happy and carefree. Everything's ok. In the evening during the dinner Tom told his mother about his wonderful afternoon.

I know this is a fool story, could you revise it? I didn't use dictionary, and it took me five minutes.

Emh, I don't like topics suggested in my book, may you give me different hints?

Everything's fine.
In the evening, while having dinner, Tom described his wonderful afternoon to his mother.

I'd say it like this :)
