Keep in touch with English

Hi everybody
While I was chatting with Brancaleone, he told me that he wants to study more English (me too, you know), so we have decided to start a new topic to write about everything, but in English, to improve our writing skill. Everybody is welcome!
I'll start talking about my fave singer, David Bowie; in my playlist (just five songs, like Nick Horby has taught us in his book "Hight Fidelity") I put
Space oddity
Heroes
China girl
Life on Mars
Starman
See you

This is a great idea!
Did you know that astronaut Chris Hadfield made a special version of "Space Oddity" while aboard the International Space Station?
Here's the official video:

Yes, I did! When I listened to it I've remered when I was youger and I fell in love with David.
So now I'm listened just Bowie, nobody else.
Please, check my English (I'm still learning)

Very well, let's start!
I have so many favourite songs - like everyone I suppose - that my playlist is too big to report here an entire list which includes movies' soundtracks, classical and pop.
However, my passion remains movies, especially americans and italians between 40's and 70's. The bad thing is that no one of my friends know this movies - and even worse neither the actors! Once I asked if they liked Jerry Lewis, and they answered they heard him never before: I really hope they were joking.
(Please check my english too)

Your interest in movies make me curious...what kind of films do you like? I'm currently trying to know more about this world and I would like to see more and more! From which titles should I start?
Musically talking, I'm totally ignorant.

The kinds I like are historical, kolossal, even dramatic movies but the comedy is the best - instead I dislke horror and martial arts.

Well, it strongly depends on what kind you like, but if you are a "novice" I suggest comedy: among american comedy movies there are great films as - the first ones that come to my mind:
Operation Petticoat (
Operazione sottoveste);
The Odd Couple (
La strana coppia);
The Out-of-Towners (
Un provinciale a New York);
Send Me No Flowers (
Non mandarmi fiori);
The Fortune Cookie (
Non per soldi... ma per denaro);
Pocketful of Miracles (
Angeli con la pistola); ...
Among italian comedy movies there are
Big Deal on Madonna Street (
I soliti ignoti) and its sequel
Audace colpo dei soliti ignoti;
L'armata Brancaleone - from here my nickname - and its sequel
Brancaleone at the Crusades (
Brancaleone alle crociate);
Treasure of San Gennaro (Operazione San Gennaro);
Un americano a Roma;
La famiglia Passaguai;
Crimen; ...

I'll surely watch some of these titles
Thank you very much!
I've recently saw "Rumble Fish" (Rusty il selvaggio). It was really interesting!

I 've recently seen

I didn't seen it yet, I should ask it to my grandfather - he has a lot of movies, surely he has it.

So, what about hobbies? I like chess and billiard - but I'm not so great to play it, I know barely hold the cue
