E noto che la frase non ha alcun significato (gli autovalori sono degli scalari e non generano nessun sottospazio).

Ora ha un po' più di senso... L'insieme di autovettori ortonormali associati agli autovalori \(\displaystyle \{\lambda_i\}_{i=1}^m\) genera un sottospazio noto come sottospazio di rumore.

No, direi autocoppia, cioè coppia autovalore-autovettore: \((\lambda, \mathbf v)\), con \(\mathbf A\mathbf v = \lambda \mathbf v\), indicando con $\mathbf A$ l'operatore in questione.

It can, even if the dictionary says it means, in German, = proprio.
