By $SO(n)$ we denote the group of proper rotations of $E^n$. With the topology induced by the usual matrix norm it is a compact topological group. The group of proper rigid motions of $E^n$ is denoted by $G_n$ and topologized as usual. Also, the Grassmannian $G(n, k)$ of $k$-dimensional linear subspaces of $E^n$ and the set $A(n, k)$ of $k$-dimensional affine subspaces of $E^n$ are endowed with their standard topologies.
Ovviamente ogni riferimento bibliografico è bene accetto.
Grazie a chi vorrà rispondere.
